Troops arrest two suspected members of armed militia, recover firearms in Plateau

Troops of Operation Safe Haven have arrested two suspected armed militia members and recovered firearms in Angwan Mata, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The development was revealed by security analyst, Zagazola Makama on Wednesday on his X handle.

According to him, the operation, conducted on Tuesday at about 11:10 AM by troops of Sector 8, was based on credible intelligence regarding the activities of armed groups of Mwaghavul origin in the area.
