The Rivers State Police Command has denied reports that its officers opened fire or used teargas to disperse protesters of the “Take It Back” movement during a demonstration held on Monday.
In a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the police described the reports as false and the claims as “unfounded.”
