Properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed as a result of inferno that ravaged a residential building in Oyo town.

DAILY POST gathered that the incident occured at Prince Bayo Sanda Villa, Farade area on Thursday morning.

The fire was as a result of a power surge.

General Manager of Oyo State Fire Service, Mr Yemi Akinyinka confirmed the development in a statement made available to DAILY POST.
