An 18-year-old boy, identified as Chinedu Abimbor, has reportedly been shot dead by police in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of the state.
DAILY POST reports that the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, 12 March 2025, at a police checkpoint in the town.
The deceased’s younger brother was, however, said to have been arrested by the police.
