The Delta State Police Command has rescued five abducted worshippers following a raid on the kidnappers’ hideout in Ubuluku Forest.
The police also recovered N1.3 million, believed to be ransom money, during the operation.
The pastor of the church was shot and is still receiving treatment in the hospital, while the victims, members of Elyon Paradise Ministry, Ogwashi-Uku, were abducted during a night vigil in their church.
