Police crack down on power cable vandals in Yobe

Yobe State Police Command says its operatives have arrested two suspected vandals with power transmission cables in a significant stride in combating vandalism of public property.

The command in a statement through its Public Relations Officer, SP Dungus Abdulkarim, noted that the suspects: Yahaya Mustapha 28, and Bello Yakubu 38, both of Takari ward, Gashu’a Bade Local Government Area, were apprehended in possession of a large quantity of dismantled power transmission…
