The Association of Urhobo Traditional Rulers, otherwise known as Ukoko R‘ Ivie Urhobo, held a rancor-free election in Delta State on Saturday, at the end of which the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Dr. Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso Abe 1, emerged Chairman of the body.
With the election, Abe 1 succeeds the immediate past Chairman, His Majesty, Richard Ogbon, Ogoni-Oghoro 1, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom in Ughellli South LGA, who died early this year at the age of 106.
