The nine surveyors who were abducted in Ilu-Abo community in Akure North LGA of Ondo State have regained their freedom.
The victims were freed by their abductors after the payment of N20 million ransom.
The development was confirmed by Ajibade Owolanke, brother to the Ejemikin of Akure, High Chief Oluwole Omotayo.
According to Owolanke, the surveyors were freed on Tuesday night after the kidnappers confirmed the receipt of the payment.
