Suspected herdsmen have attacked Farin Dutse, a community in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, leaving an unknown number of residents dead and injured.
The assailants reportedly invaded the community in the early hours of Monday, March 10, around 3:00 am, burning down several houses and displacing many residents.
A local resident, identified simply as Zaka, confirmed the incident, stating that the violence stemmed from a dispute over a mango tree.
