A 39-year-old man has been arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court sitting in Akure, Ondo State, for allegedly stealing a pregnant female dog valued at N500,000.
The defendant, Joseph Raphael, was arraigned by the Ondo State Police on a three-count charge bordering on stealing.
The crime contravenes sections 390(9), 495 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Cap 37, Volume 1, Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.
