The Chairman of Sabon Birni Local Government Area in Sokoto State, Ayuba Hashimu, has denied reports that a mosque was attacked and an Imam along with worshippers killed.
Hashimu called the reports “false, untrue, and a fabrication by conflict entrepreneurs who thrive on negative narratives to instill fear among residents.”
He said no such incident happened anywhere in the local government.
