The Kwara State Police Command has debunked reports that a female police officer in the state was kidnapped and murdered.
A statement by the spokesperson of the command SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi in Ilorin on Saturday, described the claims as “entirely false, and deeply distressing to members of the public”.
The police command stated unequivocally that the report is not only false but also misleading, with the intent to cause panic in the state.
