Magistrate Court No. 17, in Kano State presided over by Justice Huda Haruna, has granted bail to popular TikTok star Alpha Charles, who was arraigned by the police on charges of defamation.
According to the charge sheet, Alpha Charles allegedly defamed Sadiya Haruna through posts made on social media platforms.
However, upon the charges being read, she pleaded not guilty.
Her legal counsel applied for bail, which the court approved under strict conditions.
