Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed 12 vigilante members in a community Bukkuyum LGA of Zamfara State.
A villager, Nasiru Abubakar told DAILY POST on telephone that the attack took place at about 9:00 am on Wednesday.
Abubakar said that the local vigilante in the area were notified of an attack by the bandits and they mobilize and confronted the gunmen in a bid to rescue abducted members of the community.
