The Federal High Court sitting in Benin, Edo State, has sentenced 17 drug traffickers to 84 years’ imprisonment in connection with various drug offences, with an option of N27.25m fine.
This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by the Edo State Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Mitchell Ofoyeju, who stated that the convictions took place in November.
