As of Friday, Nigeria has confirmed 40 cases of Mpox, a viral disease recently declared a public emergency of international concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Like the global health institutions, the Nigerian health authorities have expectedly reintroduced relevant measures to curtail its spread and provide care for those already infected.
