A Mathematics teacher at Imagbon/Imaka Comprehensive High School in Ogun State, Mr Kayode Adewale, has been named among the top 50 finalists for the prestigious 2025 Global Teacher Prize.
The announcement was made via a statement released on Wednesday on the Global Teacher Prize’s website.
Adewale, who specialises in Mathematics and STEM education, teaches in a semi-urban community where most students come from low-income farming families.
