Prof Offiong Offiong, on Monday, took the oath of office as the 12th Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, promising to end all forms of admission racketeering and fraudulent National Youth Service Corps mobilisation concerning the institution.
The Governing Council of the University of Calabar, led by Mr Ekpo Udom, had in October announced Offiong as the VC to succeed Prof Florence Obi, whose tenure ended on Sunday.
