The University of Calgary, Canada, has named renowned historian, Prof. Toyin Falola, as one of the recipients of its honorary degree.
A statement on the UCalgary website said that the honorary degree was UCalgary’s highest academic honour, to acknowledge individuals whose outstanding achievements and contributions to the community deserve special recognition.
