Experts urge principals to prioritise teachers’ mental health

The principals of Lagos state government-owned schools have been urged to pay attention to the mental health of their teachers to improve learning outcomes.

A retired Coordinating Director, Office of Education Quality Assurance, District 1 Agege, Mrs Okewole Ranti gave this advice during the induction ceremony of the 137 new principals organised by the Lagos’ chapter of the All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools.
