An armed bandit has been arrested by security forces after a gun battle in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The incident was contained in a post shared on X on Monday by security analyst, Zagazola Makama. According to Makama, the clash occurred around 4:55 p.m. on December 21 along the Tsafe–Yanwaren Daji feeder road. The United States will begin a partial suspension of visa issuance to Nigerians from January 1, 2026, following a new presidential proclamation aimed at strengthening border and national security. The Federal Communications Commission has banned new drones made in foreign countries from being imported into the US unless the Department of Defense or the Department of Homeland Security recommends them.
