Suspected armed bandits have attacked a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) outpost in Niger State and made away with a service rifle. The attack took place at an NSCDC nipping point in Ibrahim Leteh Village along the Wawa–Luma Road in the early hours of Tuesday. Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, has signed the state’s 2026 Appropriation Bill into law. This was contained in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Alabrah, on Tuesday.
