A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Tuesday convicted and sentenced a 35-year-old man, Deji Adesanya, to six months’ imprisonment for unlawful dealing in cannabis sativa, popularly known as marijuana. Justice Akintayo Aluko handed down the sentence after Adesanya pleaded guilty to a one-count charge filed against him by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
