Four people escaped death on Sunday after a cement-laden truck rammed into the median along the Sagamu–Abeokuta Expressway. President Bola Tinubu has promised to resolve the political feud between the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, and Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue. One person was shot when armed bandits attacked Baidi village in Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
