The Gombe Geographic Information Systems (GOGIS) has announced a final 10-day deadline for land owners in the redesigned Shehu Abubakar District to complete recertification and collect their allocation letters. Victor Ikechukwu has left Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side El-Kanemi Warriors. Ikechukwu’s contract was terminated by the Maiduguri club. The striker joined El-Kanemi Warriors at the start of the 2025-26 NPFL season. Ikechukwu managed only six appearances for the coach Suleiman Dogo’s side in the first round of the season. Suspected political thugs on Friday night invaded a popular hotel (name withheld) in the Orazi axis of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, disrupting a live Arise TV interview. The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency has reassured air travellers that Nigeria’s airspace and airport landing facilities remain safe and fully operational during the current haze associated with the harmattan season. In a Friday statement signed by the spokesperson of the agency, Dr Abdullahi Musa, the agency addressed public concerns over flight operations amid reduced visibility during the Harmattan.
