The Bauchi State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed that nine passengers lost their lives in a fatal road crash that occurred at about 6:20 am on Friday along the Jama’are–Azare axis of the Kano–Maiduguri Expressway. Ten others sustained varying degrees of injuries. The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion at Fadeyi inward Donmanlong and Donmanlong inward Ojuelegba, for the installation of truck barriers.
