Severe traffic congestion was recorded on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway on Saturday morning following an accident involving a truck that toppled and blocked a section of the road. The incident occurred in the early hours around the Ogere Bridge area, disrupting traffic flow for vehicles travelling towards Ibadan, Saapade, Alapako and neighbouring communities. The Department of Security Services, DSS, has rescued 25 children recently abducted by gunmen in Sabon Layi community of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau.
