The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Borno has disassociated itself from the transitional and registration committees allegedly set up by one of its chieftains, Kashim Imam. Alhaji Umar Bolori, the ADC chairman in the state, made the position of the party known at a news conference in Maiduguri. The Benue State Police Command has arrested no fewer than 41 suspected criminals during a coordinated raid on identified black spots in Wurukum and Wadata areas of Makurdi, following intelligence reports of criminal activities in the axis. The Edo Police Command has arrested 18-year-old Obehi Odine for staging her own kidnapping, while 11 others were arrested for their alleged involvement in a kidnapping syndicate. In a statement on Tuesday, the state command’s Public Relations Officer, Eno Ikoedem, said exhibits, including firearms, were recovered during the operations. The statement read, “A suspect, one Obehi Odine ‘F’, aged 18, was arrested for staging her own kidnap and demanding a ransom of ₦10 million. Microsoft is removing its Lens scanner app from iOS and Android in the coming months. Microsoft Lens, or Office Lens as it’s known to most, will no longer be supported on February 9th and the app won’t be functional after March 9th.The portable scanner features of Lens are available in OneDrive instead, making a dedicated app redundant for Microsoft.
