The Edo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said no fewer than 31 suspected drug traffickers were arrested by its operatives in the month of December, 2025. The NDLEA Commander in the State, Dr Mitchell Ofoyeju said the suspects were arrested with over 2,000 kilogrammes of narcotics within the period. Ofoyeju said the arrested suspects were made up of 20 males and 11 females. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command, says it has arrested three suspects in connection with cases of kidnapping, robbery and theft at various locations across the state.
