Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) generated N4.97 trillion in revenue and recorded N481 billion profit after tax in April 2026 as crude oil and condensate production rose to 1.68 million barrels per day (mbpd). The National Association of Nigeria Nurses, Kwara State chapter, has issued a two-week ultimatum to the state government to address welfare issues of members or risk an industrial action. Abia State Police Command says it has arrested two suspects for conspiracy, attempted child theft and possession of hard drugs. The Command which made this known on Saturday, named the suspects as Nzubechi Chinagorom and Chinonso Chibundu, indigenes of Olokoro, Umuahia South LGA of the Abia State.
