Enyimba midfielder Chinedu Ufere, has admitted that the 2025-26 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season was a challenging one for the club. The African Development Bank has revealed that 70.7 per cent of firms in Nigeria own or share generators due to persistent electricity shortages, with power outages costing businesses about three per cent of their annual sales. Dangote cuts petrol, diesel ex-depot prices

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has announced a fresh reduction in the ex-depot prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), commonly called diesel. In a statement shared with PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, Anthony Chiejina, the refinery said it reduced the ex-gantry price of petrol to N1,250 per litre from N1,275 per litre. FDI drops 80% as investors favour bonds

Foreign direct investment into Nigeria plunged by 80 per cent in January 2026 as foreign investors increasingly channelled funds into bonds and money market instruments, despite a sharp rise in overall capital inflows, the latest Economic Report of the Central Bank of Nigeria has shown.
