Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd), has explained why no physical remains of terrorists were recovered following recent United States airstrikes in Nigeria, saying the nature of the weapons used made that impossible. Lagos State Taskforce has stepped up enforcement operations across the metropolis, targeting street urchins popularly referred to as Omotaku, who are accused of loitering around major roads and traffic corridors to harass and extort motorists, particularly during vehicle breakdowns. The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service has reiterated the statutory deadline of January 31, 2026, for all employers of labour in the state to file their annual tax returns for the 2025 financial year.
