Remo Stars goalkeeper Alladoum Francis Kolimba has been recalled to the Central African Republic, CAR, national team. Kolimba last featured for CAR in the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola. The shot stopper has been capped three times by his country. His return to the national team follows an impressive display with Remo Stars in the NPFL last season. He registered one clean sheet in 10 appearances for the Sky Blue Stars. The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Federal Polytechnic Ngodo-Isuochi chapter, Abia State, has issued a 21-day ultimatum to the institution’s management over alleged non-implementation of staff welfare demands and breach of statutory obligations. The Joint Task Force Operation WHIRL STROKE has said its troops neutralised four suspected criminals, rescued two kidnapped victims, recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition, and dismantled a suspected drug trafficking network during operations conducted across Benue and Taraba states between May 24 and 31, 2026.
