Qatar Airways said its aircraft operating the Lagos–Doha route returned safely to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, after the flight crew detected a technical issue while the plane was airborne on Friday. The Anambra Police Command says it has arrested a suspect, Friday Akonobi, in connection with the alleged abduction and murder of a six-year-old girl from Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
