Suspected bandits, on Wednesday evening, stormed the Ijalu area of Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, kidnapping a woman and her toddler in an attack that has left residents gripped by fear. The victims, identified as Mrs Idowu Kemi Titilayo and her young child, were whisked away by the assailants during the raid along the Solid Rock School axis of the community. Liverpool defender, Ibrahima Konaté, has admitted that personal tragedies contributed to a dip in his form during the 2025–26 season, as he reflected on a difficult campaign both on and off the pitch. MMA fighter Hrishikesh Koloth died last month in a fatal black bear attack. He was 27. Koloth, who was working on a mining site in Canada, died on May 8, multiple outlets reported. The young worker, originally from Kerala, India, was an independent contractor for UraniumX Discovery Corp.
