The Federal Government on Thursday presented the prestigious African Quality Mark certification to 131 Nigerian companies for 220 Made-in-Nigeria products, in a move aimed at boosting the competitiveness of local goods across the African continent under the African Continental Free Trade Area. At least seven people have been killed following a violent clash between farmers and herders in Lanzai and Dosho communities of Darazo Local Government Area in Bauchi State. According to the Bauchi State Police Command, the incident began after suspected herders allegedly attacked farmers working on farmland on the outskirt of Lanzai community.
