US President Donald Trump’s media company has advanced plans for its “first-of-its-kind” shareholder token airdrop, setting Feb. 2 as the record date used to determine eligibility. The Director-General of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Dr Simeon Ehui, has emphasised the importance of investing in youth to secure Africa’s future. Ehui made the call at the closeout ceremony of Phase I of the Innovative Youth in Agriculture project. Domestic refineries on Tuesday declared that they have the capacity to supply more fuel into the local market this year than importers did in 2025. The Crude Oil Refiners Association of Nigeria told The PUNCH that its members, including the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, have the capacity to supply all the fuels needed by Nigerians without recourse to importation.
