The National Judicial Council (NJC) has recommended 14 candidates to President Bola Tinubu for appointment as judges of the Federal High Court. In a statement issued on Thursday by its Deputy Director of Information, Kemi Babalola-Ogedengbe, the council said the decision was taken at its 110th meeting held on 13 and 14 January. A devastating fire has razed more than 300 houses in Wannue, located in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State. The blaze swept through clusters of thatch structures, small residential units, and large quantities of farm produce worth millions of naira.
