A Chief Magistrate’s Court in Makurdi, Benue State, on Monday ordered the remand of a businesswoman, Ruth Tarhemba, in the Nigerian Correctional Service for allegedly trafficking two girls for prostitution. Grammy-winning Nigerian-British singer, Mark Yinka Orabiyi, popularly known as Talay Riley, is dead. Talay Riley reportedly died on June 5 2026 after being stabbed with a knife multiple times. The 35-year-old singer was fatally stabbed in Pankhurst Avenue, Silvertown in East London at about 9 a.m. According to Metropolitan Police, Talay Riley was pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of paramedics by Emergency services.
