The Anambra State Government has said it is beginning a pro-rata salary payment for workers across the state as part of efforts to end the Monday sit-at-home directive enforced by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra across the state. Nigerians spent a total of $985m importing motor vehicles and parts from the United States in the first 10 months of 2025, marking a sharp rise from the $543m recorded in the corresponding period of 2024, latest data from the US Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Analysis have shown.
