Justice Funsho Lawal of the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin on Monday sentenced three persons to death for armed robbery and kidnapping offenses. The convicts are Patrick Afedia Adams, Tijani Usman, and Ahmed Muhammad. The offences were committed against Mr. Olubunmi Komolafe and his wife, Mrs. Adeola Morenikeji, at their farm in Ilorin metropolis. Director General of Nigeria’s National Sports Commission, NSC, Bukola Olopade, has said he disagrees with former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh’s comments on Victor Osimhen and other Super Eagles players. Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke Joint Task Force have neutralised two suspected bandits along the Naka/Makurdi road.
