A cholera outbreak has infected thousands of people and placed growing pressure on health facilities in Borno State, with 74 deaths and 7,850 suspected cases recorded in the state since early May. A United States federal court has jailed a Nigerian, Atuchukwu Onyeanusi, over fraud and misuse of visas, permits and other identification documents. Theeler to time served, under six months in custody, followed by one year of supervised release.
