The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has revealed that it paid more than N106 billion to depositors of the defunct Heritage Bank Limited, while assuring customers with unresolved claims that payments are still ongoing. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) says it has approved more than $57 billion in Field Development Plans (FDPs) since 2024, amid Nigeria’s aggressive push to attract fresh investment and expand oil and gas production.
