South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb says it has resolved an incident in which a promotional reward error credited certain user accounts with excess Bitcoin.In a Sunday statement, the exchange confirmed it recovered 99.7% of the overpaid Bitcoin (BTC) on the same day the incident occurred. Benue State Police Command has confirmed that on 6th February, 2026, around 12:40 p.m., its operatives conducting confidence-building patrols in Kwande Local Government Area successfully repelled an attack by suspected armed herdsmen in Awanse community, rescuing a woman who had been abducted.
