A 29-year-old Nigerian woman, Olajide Iyanuoluwa, has been arrested in India with 121 grams of cocaine valued at about Rs 1.20 crore (approximately N195m), which she allegedly concealed inside bread loaves. Several worshippers were killed on Tuesday when an explosive device went off inside a mosque at Gamborun Market in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has said that the Chief Magistrate of the Special Offences Court sitting in Oshodi has remanded six of the seven suspects arraigned before it until February 19, 2026, for allegedly assaulting and causing grievous bodily harm to traffic officials carrying out their lawful duties.
