The World Association of Kickboxing Organisations has suspended the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria following reports of irregularities surrounding its October 25 election, Sunday PUNCH reports. The suspension followed petitions submitted to WAKO after the disputed election, during which there were accusations of interference. The election was earlier postponed indefinitely following protests by stakeholders over alleged governance breaches. The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has announced the official opening of the 2025-26 mid-season transfer window. The window will open on Thursday 1st January, 2026, and close on Saturday, 31st January, 2026. Clubs are expected to utilize the period to strengthen their squads before the league resumes.
