The Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, has signed the Harmonized Taxes and Levies (Approved List for Collection) Law, making it the third state to sign the legislation. The governor signed the bill into law on Monday in Awka, Anambra State, to conform with the federal government’s National Tax Reform Acts, taking effect from 1 January 2026. The Acting General Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Elizabeth Gabriel, has reacted to the reported suspension of its chairman, Pretty Okafor. A female police officer attached to the Sabo Police Division in Yaba, Lagos State, W/Inspector Alonge Bridget, has petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over alleged physical assault, threats to her life, sustained harassment, and professional misconduct by a senior officer at the station.
