The Kebbi State Police Command has rescued two abducted victims and arrested a suspect during separate security operations in Kalgo and Dandi Local Government Areas of the state. Confirming the development on Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bashir Usman, said the operations were carried out in collaboration with local vigilante groups. According to him, one of the victims was rescued unhurt in Kalgo LGA following a prompt response by police operatives working with the Vigilante Group of Nigeria. The Police Command in Enugu State has detained 52 suspects, recovered firearms, ammunition, and rescued three kidnapped victims between January 24 and January 30. This is contained in a weekly crime statistics released by the Command’s Spokesman, SP Daniel Ndukwe, on Saturday in Enugu.
