The Lagos State Waste Management Authority, LAWMA, has arrested a number of cart pushers for allegedly engaging in illegal refuse disposal along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway in the Ojo axis of the state. The arrests were made after officers of LAWMA’s Waste Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement Team uncovered an unauthorised dumpsite during a routine patrol carried out by the Ijora-Seme Division. Wolves are demanding between €25m and €30m for the forward, according to transfer expert, Ekrem Konur. The Anambra State Internal Revenue Service has arrested five persons for engaging in illegal revenue collection in Nnewi. The suspects identified as Edwin Okonkwo, Sunny Obasi, Christian Oziri, Christian Chinedu, and Nnamdi Nworie, were apprehended while collecting money ranging from N300 ro N500 from tricycle riders at different locations in Nnewi.
