A suspected phone thief was attacked by a group of youths in the Dorayi area of Kano State after he was accused of attempting to steal a woman’s mobile phone. Eyewitnesses said the suspect allegedly tried to snatch the woman’s phone, triggering a confrontation that swiftly turned violent. Fire has gutted a residential building at Fabikez Street, Omagba Phase 2, in Onitsha North Local Government Area of Anambra State, killing a 95-year-old woman who was reportedly trapped for several hours.
